Larkmoor

A preventative assessment at Larkmoor is a half day in one building: a consultation, the testing chosen for you, and a results conversation with the clinician who ordered it.

What gets tested depends on your age, your history, your work and what you actually want to know. Tests that would not change anything are deliberately left out, and we will tell you which ones those were.

How an assessment runs

One half day, in one building

  1. Planning call

Fifteen minutes on the phone to decide what is worth testing and what is not.

  2. The visit

Consultation, examination and testing in one half day, in one building.

  3. Results, the same day

Explained in person by the clinician who chose the tests.

  4. The year after

A written plan, a review date, and a named clinician to contact.

Three assessments

Choose by circumstance, not by tier

The names describe who each one suits. Nothing is upsold in the room, and the planning call may well recommend the shorter one.

How we choose

Four rules we apply to every assessment

  • We would rather run five tests you can act on than twenty you cannot
  • You are told which tests were left out, and why
  • Results are explained the same day, in person
  • Every assessment ends with a plan and a date, not a document

Screening decisions are individual. This page describes how the practice works; it is not medical advice and does not recommend any particular test for you.

Book a preventative assessment

Every assessment starts with a fifteen-minute planning call, so the half day itself is spent on what matters.
