How care works here

Four steps, and none of them involve repeating yourself

The practice was built around continuity: the same record, the same team, and a plan written down at the end of every appointment.

03

Test where it helps

Bloods, imaging and cardiac testing in our own rooms, usually reported the same working day.

04

Leave with a plan

A written summary, a named clinician, and a review date rather than an open question.

What to expect

Preventative health

Fewer tests, better chosen, explained the same day

Screening is only useful when it is chosen well. Our assessments start with a conversation about what is worth knowing, and end the same day with a plan you can act on.

  • We would rather run five tests you can act on than twenty you cannot
  • You are told which tests were left out, and why
  • Results are explained the same day, in person
  • Every assessment ends with a plan and a date, not a document

What we hold ourselves to

Six things that do not move

Every practice says it puts patients first. These are the specific, checkable commitments that follow from it here.

Patient information

Thirty minutes, protected

A standard appointment is half an hour. Rotas, room numbers and the results process are all built around keeping it that way rather than around fitting more people in.

One record, one team

Your GP, your specialist, your physiotherapist and your dietitian read and write the same notes. You should never have to carry information between them yourself.

Results are explained, not sent

Nothing is released as a number without a clinician attached to it. A results conversation is booked at the same time as the test that needs one.

The plan is written down

Every appointment ends with a written summary: what we discussed, what we agreed, what happens next and who to reply to.

You choose who sees you

You can ask for a particular clinician, a clinician of a particular gender, a chaperone, an interpreter or a quieter waiting area. None of it needs a reason.

We say when we are not the answer

Some things belong in a hospital, in urgent care, or with a service we do not provide. We would rather say so on the first visit than the fourth.
