The same clinicians, the same record, the same diary — joined from wherever you are. Virtual appointments at Larkmoor are not a separate service bolted onto the practice.
A virtual appointment is held by a clinician who also works in our buildings, written into the same record, and followed by the same written summary.
We are equally clear about what virtual care cannot do. Examination, imaging and procedures need a room, and your clinician will say so during the call and book it with you rather than leaving you to sort it out.

A link arrives by email and text. There is no app to install and no account to create.
- Open the link a few minutes early to settle camera and microphone permissions
- Use headphones if you have them; they improve the call more than the camera does
- Sit with light in front of you rather than behind you
- A telephone appointment is always available instead of video
- If the connection fails, your clinician will call the number on your record
What we do not claim
The limits, in plain words
- Video appointments are held over an ordinary encrypted video link, and we will tell you what is recorded — nothing is, unless you ask for it and agree in writing.
- A telephone appointment is always available and is not a lesser option.
- If your connection fails, the clinician calls the number on your record.
- Virtual care is not suitable for urgent or emergency problems.
