Specialist care
Specialist consultations
When a question needs a specialist, it should not need a new set of forms. Specialist appointments at Larkmoor are booked internally, with your record already in the room.

Our specialist clinics cover the areas our patients ask for most often. Appointments are forty-five minutes and are usually arranged after a conversation with your GP, though several can be booked directly.
Because everything sits in one record, a specialist can see the tests already done and the questions already asked. You should not have to tell the same story three times.
Who it is for
- A question your GP would like a specialist view on
- A second opinion on a diagnosis or a proposed treatment
- Ongoing specialist review alongside your everyday care
- Anyone who would rather not start again somewhere new
What to expect

Your GP writes a summary so the specialist arrives with the history already read.
During

Tests
Anything needed is ordered in the same system and usually booked before you leave.
After
A letter to you, and a copy to your GP inside the practice.
How to prepare
- Bring previous letters, imaging and results from outside the practice
- Write down the two or three questions you most want answered
- Bring a list of current medication and doses
