General practice
The centre of the practice. A named GP, a half-hour appointment as standard, and a record that follows you into every other room at Larkmoor.
Most people meet Larkmoor here. A general practice appointment is thirty minutes rather than ten, which is long enough to talk about the reason you came and the two things you nearly did not mention.
Your GP can arrange blood work at the same visit, refer you internally to a specialist colleague, request imaging at Wharfside, or simply agree to see you again in a fortnight and watch how something settles.

What to expect
Before
A short questionnaire arrives by email so your clinician arrives already read in.
During
Thirty minutes: history, examination where useful, and a plan written down with you.
Tests
Blood work can usually be taken in the same visit at Fieldgate and Wharfside.
After
A written summary, any referrals, and a named person to reply to.
How to prepare
- Bring a list of anything you currently take, including supplements
- Note when the problem started and what makes it better or worse
- Bring recent letters or results from other clinicians if you have them
- Tell us at booking if you would prefer a clinician of a particular gender
