Recovery and wellbeing
Mental wellbeing
Therapy appointments are held in the two rooms at the end of Ashbourne Mews, with a separate entrance and a waiting space of their own.

An initial appointment is an assessment rather than a first session: what has been happening, what you have tried, and which kind of support is likely to help.
From there, sessions are booked as a course with the same therapist at the same time each week wherever possible, because consistency does a great deal of the work.
Who it is for
- Anxiety, low mood, stress and sleep difficulty
- Adjusting to a diagnosis or a change in health
- Support alongside physical rehabilitation
- Anyone who would rather start with an assessment than a referral form
What to expect
Assessment
Fifty minutes to agree what would help, with no obligation to continue.
Sessions
Fifty minutes, usually weekly, with the same therapist.
Privacy
A separate entrance and waiting area, away from the main clinic.
Joined up
Nothing is shared with the rest of the practice without your agreement.
How to prepare
- Nothing is required in advance; arriving is enough
- Sessions can be held by video if travelling is hard that week
- Tell us if a particular time of day is better for you
- You may bring someone with you to the first appointment
